Great looking towels! That looks like a car from when I was a kid! The red one looks cheerful to me. Would certainly brighten my mornings!
I guess knock down stitches are different from embossed type designs. At first, I thought they were the same. Guess I'm slow to catch on. So, the knock donw stitches is something that is already on the machine? Or do you have to have a special program to do that?
Thanks. read toogie's comment and it will be clearer about knock down stitches.
Knock-down stitches ? that's new for me, but the result is great !!
Is the Good Morning design one of yours or purchased?
The designs certainly show better, with the nap down. However, I wonder if you experimented further and could get the knock down stitches just under the design itself, so it wouldn't show a square or rectangle?
I don't have the ability to do what you have done, so I am not one to tell you how, by any means. I am sure one of the digitizers here can give you some pointers. I do like your towels and choice of designs.
Toogie the square and rectangle are not as noticeable on the towels, they did show up quite noticeable in the photos. I do realize I could buy a programme with the knock down stitch that goes around the design but decided against that. I just bought some different shaped designs for nap-loft-pile-down from an applique site and pile-drop stitch from another site (have not tried these yet). Hugs Marg
Oh, so the knock down stitches are like another design? I know it holds the nap down for your design.
I thought you were digitizing them yourself or that your program could set the knock down stitches to match your design. See, I told you I know NOTHING about how to do it.-lol
You got it. I also know nothing about digitizing and with a brain like mine am not about to start learning. Haa haa.
They look great Marg. I haven't used this stitch, where is it on the embroidery machine? Love Chris
Chris it is not a stitch on my machine. I bought the Knock down stitch, in a lot of shapes, from an applique site. Hugs Marg
