Hello Cuties, I had a strip of fabric left, after sewing the two totes. I was able to sew two cosmetic bags like this larger one and also one ITH small zipper bag. I remembered to put my name on the large bag but forgot on the ITH one (see front and backs)

My friend Pearlie and I each get a tote and each get the larger bags, but I think I'll kept the small zipper bag for myself. I use these a lot.
I forgot to add a strap, on the side of this larger bag like I did on the one in Community sewing, to hook it to my inside tote. I can still hook it by using a larger ring with my pull though.
I do love this fabric. Hope you do too.-Toogie

Very pretty and practical, too! I love that you put your name on your bags. I must remember to do that. I love making bags because they are such nice gifts. A few years ago we visited a craft fair in a nearby community and there was a bag that I had made with a 2nd place ribbon on it!!!!. I took pictures showing the name of the person who entered it and reported it. Later on that same year we went back to see their Fall/Christmas craft sale and there was MY bag sitting on the table at one of the vendor's tables. I faced her with it and she denied up and down and that she had sewn it. I asked her what pattern she had used and where she got her fabric etc. and she was very evasive. I didn't want to make a scene and let it go. So...a lesson learned. Now you've given me a solution. Will have to figure out something because I have several bags ready to stitch out; maybe I'll do my initials on the lining. Thanks teaching me another sewing tip. Love your bags. Avis
P.S. Is this pattern ITH?

The small bag is ith, as I stated, but the other nine I sewed the regular way. Shame about your bag and the other one getting credit for it. There are all kind of frauds out there. I try to remember to put my name but once in a while I forget.

Thanks Chris, my niece thinks the little ith bag looks leather looking, with all the stippling stitches.

What a shame you didn't get a bit more of this fabric I could see a few being made for your next trip away.
They all look great.

Yes, I would have made one for a prize. I did look for some today but that Walmart didn't have it. I'm going to try looking for it at another.
