Hi Cuties, a couple more of the zipper purses and cosmetic purses finished. Only 3 more sets to go! The zipper purses with embroidered rik rak on and below the zip (ZippyDesignZ) have all been done in the 11x7 hoop. The other ones are made just by the sewing machine - design is by Missouri Quilt Company.
It's been great having some time to ourselves yesterday and today. Tomorrow for Easter we are meeting family in our local park after Church and then we are bringing Mum back to our place for a BBQ Lamb cutlet lunch with just Trevor and I. The rest of the kids are all going to stay at the park. I hope everyone has a blessed day. Love Chris

360638Have to love these little guys! I was particularly entrigued with the orange one. Is the smaller purse stitched on to the side of the bigger one? It is a very clever idea if so.

I was thinking it'd be a good place for a cell phone on the outside of a purse. Easy access. I'll have to play around with this idea.

318290The bags are all very nice Chris. You really do so much for your Christmas guest. I know they look forward to coming every year, not just to spend time with you, but anticipating what you came up with this year.
Your Easter day sounds very relaxing at the park and quite afterward, with just your mum and DH. We have acreage that the children can run and play and find the eggs. They are coming in the afternoon and will be here for the evening meal...17 of them so far, as I haven't heard from one grandson and another can't make it, has to work.
I have one cake in the oven as I type and something on the stove. I am cooking what I can today and finish tomorrow. I used to cook enough in one day but I'm slowing down a bit-lol
I hope you and the family have a nice Easter. Give your 'mum' a hug from me as I sure miss mine, especially at holiday times/family gatherings.

Thanks Toogie, I've been to the Easter dawn service which was gorgeous and it wasn't dark as I forgot that with daylight savings finishing the dawn was lighter! I'll give Mum a hug from you. You have a wonderful time with the egg hunt with all those kiddies. Love Chris
