Progress stash reduction.

I crocheted another C2C blanket. see picture#1. I used the colours on top and mixed them two a number of different shades - 3 threads each - 2 col A plus 1 col B in varying combinations, 1A+1B+1C or 3 whites. And a few rows with the yarn I dyed to give it a bit of a kick.

Picture #2 shows what I've made so far with these colours: 2 blankets, 4 sweaters (the blue is the latest - picture #3) and 7 hats.

But there is a lot left ... see pict4 ... and that's not all. I have, however, 3 empty cones :)

Everything is lovely, Martine...but still looks like you have quite the stash of yarns left!

Oh my gosh, Martine........tons of yarn!! How many strand do you hold together when using the thinner yarn? All your creations are gorgeous!

Thank you. I use 3. The navy coloured are a bit thicker, so I'll try 2. Have to do a swatch asap.

Every item looks so nice. I especially love the little blue closely knitted sweater in the 3rd photo. You are exceptionally good with the knitting needles.

Actually it was the easiest as I only used two strands and had no 'half' stitches due to splitting the combined yarn.

2 are cardboard, the other one plastic with holes all over - too small for strawberries...
Now you got me thinking - oasis in it and stick flowers through the holes? Or popcicles. Hubby has his birthday today - I could use something less sweet on skewers

Thank you. I am improvising to my heart's content and so far it all worked out rather nicely.
I think I'll switch to the marine colours for a while. What was the saying, a change is as good as a holiday? Something like that.
And I must try the knitting machine again, maybe some lace pattern. (I should really start with a plain piece of stocking stitch, but I always skipped the simple things and went in at the deep end...)
