Those kitties are just gorgeous and so very realistic! My friend has the a grey one, but as said below, the do come in diffferent colors. If you are making it for a cat owner who has a tabby, stitch it in her cat's colors! I figured out long ago that people only buy/like their breed/colors.
I love them both - beautiful in different ways! So it is hard for you to decide :-)
Beautiful, both of them...I guess it's a matter of personal preference. I like both, so maybe I'm easy to please.-lol
Hi
It depends on the cat. You get cats looking like the top one, and cats looking like the bottom one.. I had both types. My current one is more like the bottom one, but my cat I still cry about (and he died 8 years ago, his picture is still in my purse) was more like the top one.
So, choose the one you like the best!
Regards.

Thank you, some pets are slightly more special than others for a variety of reasons
Hi, yes. He helped me through the period where I was told I have 2 incurable diseases that will put eventually put me in a wheelchair, a very bad divorce and then cancer. He used to lick my tears away and cuddled me when I was sleepless - any time of the day or night! And he was always happy to see me. I bought him for my son, but he decided almost immediately he was mine. And he was extremely possessive of me. And jealous! I could not give attention to any other animal if he was there. If I did, he would just walk away. And he had the most gorgeous huge green eyes, and beautiful marks. He was a ginger cat. I miss him... Anneliese
Like them both, but if I do need to select, I would say #2
Both look good. The first one looks like one down the street from me.
They looks great, (I will still embroider the file) this are tabbys, most tone in ton variations, enclosed photos of my BKH's Tabbys, Hugs Maria =^..^=
Thank you.Your first photo looks like my second photo colour wise. The two cats sure love each other.
on the first photo is Pinky, Pinky has a long genealogy table of the descent of awarded world champion Karthäuser Tabbys, she is the mother of the both, on the other photo, hugs Maria
Boy, you really hit the nail on the head with your thread choices! They sure look just like the cats I know. The kitties have such a nice soft glow about them. Well done!
Thank you.Only our white cat & another white cat with a few grey markings who lives across the road somewhere, live around here at the moment.
Love them both!!Looks Stunning!!Great design and work
They are both wonderful!!!! I had "Missy" who looked just like the bottom one........
Most of ours right now are tabbies.....they range from browns, black, white, gray and silver.......all but the silver ones have reddish undertones...so I would say both are true to colors and they look fabulous!
Thank you.Only had 4 cats in my life so far ,the ginger one was the most colourful one
hi, #2 looks very much like my Kelly Green. just need the bright green eyes, great job! thanks for letting us see it.
Thank you.To get coloured eyes involves a lot of stopping & starting ,really fiddlely
Very nice stitch outs....you can't go wrong with either of them.
Both are and they look fantastic. Can almost hear them purrrr!
They are lovely, both cats are realistic, if you have a cat book anywhere, you can do any other colours as well, even make a black, white and different shades of grey. Hugs Maureen
like the others already mentioned, both colours are correct, but personally I like the grey one the most, here you see most in that colour . The design is great.
You can get tabby cats in grey, brown, ginger and tortoiseshell. From the two you have shown the 2nd one is more common, although I would change the tan/light brown color to a light or medium grey.
You have done a wonderful job stitching the two cats. Venetia
I am not a expert but to me the image of a orange striped cat comes to mind. Now when I google images of Tabby both are correct. Whatever you did a great job stitching the design.
