Excellent beautiful towels love the stitches of wing needle in the heart and the lavender is beautiful
Nice job. I don't know your software, but the font looks like Flair Script in Bernina.. I use it a lot because it is so legible. I do love lavender also because I am a purple girl.
Thanks, Kay...this was created in Janome Digitizer...same company that developed this for Janome also created the Bernina software...it is Flair Script...
They are all beautiful. I like embossing for towels, it adds some texture and keeps loops in place.
When using a wing needle in ME the width of the hole made by it is always horizontal, whatever the stitch direction, which does not always give the result I like (something similar applies to twin needles). I LOVE the effect in your case. Thanks for showing.
Thank you, Martine...I think it adds a lovely bit of decoration to the inside of the heart, too...
Gorgeous Kim, I love number 2. I'm also a Lavender lover, I always have sachets in my lingerie drawers! Love Chris
Thank you, Chris...I have several lavender plants, and some do not produce the lavender for sachets...I wish I had known there were so many varieties before I purchased them!
Great example of how there is more than one way to stitch something! I think that that all three are nice and have their own characteristics. Every mom would enjoy having these!
These are great, Kim.......knock down stitches are great!
Thanks Vicki...they are...I really did not need them to "clarify" the details, but I wanted some extra texture in the heart...the wing needle stitching did the job...
Love them Kim. I love lavender also but have poor luck growing it in Alabama.
Love them Kim wish i had a Mother to sew for hugs
Me too...my Mom passed two years ago...so now I try to remember other "Mothers" who are important to me...
These towels you've done look lovely &sure these ladies will all find your labor of love delightful too. Thanks for sharing your project &have a wonderful Mothers day. ~D
