Just beautiful. I've also gotten some of her squares and plan to do them on cotton, not scuba fabric as well.
I added Navy&White quilt squares and Stitch delight to my TABS but it wouldn't accept it. Love Chris
It did except it. Your Tag (and not TABS) is
STITCHDELIGHT-DESIGNS and both show up
Good tags would be
Quilt
Quilts
Stitch-delight
The & isn't something folks would search to find. Hyphenation allows a multi word tag.
The key is using words that others might think of when searching for any post that involved quilts.
I failed to mention your lovely quilt. I think you have done a beautiful job. I'm glad you are using cotton. The scuba fabric would be way too hot.
Thanks rescuer and Angie. When I click on my post here I don't see any tags at all, although I did type them in . Love Chris
That's going to be a beautiful quilt! I love the background fabric you chose!! *Hugs and Flowers*
Hi shozo, there is no background fabric. That Aboriginal print is my tablecloth that I just placed my white squares on. Love Chris
I was looking at those beautiful Tudor roses and the center design and didn't see the butterflies till I used the magnifying glass! These are gorgeous.
BE-autiful-I just downloaded Stitch Delights free square to try and watched the video. I am not close to a fabric store or out much but want to see about finding that Scuba fabric [I guess that means a knit] Also, I love your background fabric here, would match the 3 designs from Emblibrary--feather, cross and another one I'd like to get but who knows.
Hi Patti, when I looked up Scuba fabric it said it was the stuff used to make wet-suits for divers, srufers etc,
The background fabric is my table cloth on my dining table.
The fabric I sewed on is just cotton! I used navy thread, whereas the Navy blocks have white cotton on them. Have a look at my previous posts. I may add the picture in on this one so people can see. Love Chris
I love your chosen fabrics and this design of quilt pattern is beautiful. I think I bought her Tudor Rose but from OPW a long time ago--in my stash like everything else. I'll look up the scuba also. To me it looks like that can koozie stuff but not when she has it hooped--it looks like the bathing suit stretch lycra. I have so many things to 'fix' and some dresses that need lace at the 'V' neck that is too low for this girl and then BDay's coming up and a shower. I am so slow.
Very nice Chris. They somehow remind me of owl faces. I am sure this will turn out to be a fantastic quilt.
