I love doing Hoop Sisters designs. They are amazing. Your pillow is beautiful. I've never thought about using just part of a set to make a pillow; it would coordinate with the entire quilt. Thanks for sharing. Avis
As Toogie said, I don't do Facebook, but that is beautiful. I'm rooting for you to take home first prize, whatever it is. Excellent work!
I vote 'like' here but I know that doesn't help u 2 win. I'm not on Facebook but if I were u would surely get my vote. A beautiful job you've done, for sure , no reason it was voted in the finalist. Good luck to you dear- Toogie
Great job, I'd vote for you, but am not a member of Hoop sisters. Love Chris
This is just lovely-afraid I don't do the FB or social media stuff so I can't vote but hope you win. I had been working on HoopSisters GooseTracks for 8 years. Actually at our sewing group I have helped another lady for 8 years so much so that I am sick of it. I have the borders left to do-have the corners done and have all my pieces I need for the border blocks in zip lock bags. I just haven't had it in me to start back up. This lady now has Dementia pretty bad and I am still cutting her strips and binding and showing her how to stitch it together. Guess I am burnt out of this one.
Thanks. Please post pictures of some of your blocks. I'm sure the comments from cuties will inspire you to finish.
Never even thought of posting some pics of some of the squares-I bought that camera and decided more trouble than worth but if I remember it and that you ask me to show some I will try. I think I have a touch of Dementia also--not being crude--really mean it. I have to write everything down now.
Beautiful pillow! I can see why it would be a finalist. Did you use variegated thread to outline pars of it or is that just how it is designed? I love the effect.
Thank you. Not variegated thread, it is the design - yellow 'candle wicking' on top of purple satin stitches.
this is Beautiful! how long did this take to make?I surely would vote for this But I am not in the club
Thank you. Embroidery Design took about 30 minutes per block but I also had to cut out the applique so it took a bit longer. Sewing the squares took the longest!
Great work, I stay away from Facebook as much as I can
