Martine - so lovely I Googled it to add it to my Ravely library, but when I went to I see it's already there. Must be from the last time you posted one as I'm not sure how else I would have found it :-) . I like the look of this one and it looks like it will hold it's shape better than many. Thanks for sharing.
My red one I posted earlier I gave to a friend who admired it when it was fresh from the hook. This one has yet to find a new owner.
Nice to see the various colours on that Ravelry page. They all look terrific.
Yes - that's my favorite part of Ravelry - seeing how a pattern looks in all different weights, colors and such of yarn. I also love that you can click on a yarn and see all the projects done with it to really see how it stitches up. Did that yesterday as the yarn I was starting with still had a label so I knew what it was.
Oh, Martine......this is gorgeous......the pattern and color works great and what a terrific drape it has!
Thank you. Yes, the drape is great, and the feel is nice and soft. I love the pattern. I think the Granny bits make it more interesting than Virus only.
I might just do another one in a different colours, I have some brown and orange that might give it an autumnal look.
That would look lovely in autumn colors, too....I tried to teach myself how to crochet, but have only mastered the single chain....wish I lived by you so I could learn from a pro!
This is stunning! I love the color! And everything about it, for that matter!
How graceful looking this shawl is and such a beautiful colour. Your talent is amazing. Love Chris
Talent is a bit too much honour, it's a fairly simple design. And as it starts with very short rows you'll get the hang of it in no time at all. At the end the rows take a lot more time :)
No it is Definitely a talent. No matter how hard I try, dishcloths are my only projects that turn out decent looking and some of those even get wonky! Nan
You have such talent - this is beautiful - just love the color!
It really is very easy to do. I just did the first repeat at home and packed a hook and a needle to weave in ends when I switched to a new ball. You tube has several versions of the design, when you can crochet a chain stitch, a sc and a dc it is a breeze.
Well done. Makes me want to pick up my hooks and needles. Unfortunately my cast just was replaced with a new one. 4 more weeks. Sigh.
