Anything but ugly. I love the color and the design. What a great way to use up scraps.
I like the look of this. You are what is called "On Trend" with this quilt design. Or something like that..... Anytime one can use up scraps is always a great project. I hate throwing away usable pieces. Yes, it junks up, but hey--what is the saying 'a penny earned is a $1.00 saved?' Plus, it is an awesome quilt.
Well, they certainly turned into being good for something! I love this quilt. It's fun and colorful. You are such an inspiration.
what a marvellous result. Truly should inspire some of us to get busy!! love the quilting
I love it! It reminds me of my crazy quilt my great grandmother made me when I was little. I think it is absolutely beautiful and truly represents why quilts were first done.
LOVE it. Its like the old fashioned Crazy Quilts, but I do like your name for it better. Beautiful job, Sue! Hugs and Flowers to all!
I would definitely not call this lovely quilt ugly..Great job love it.
Just love this scrapy quilt and just love the top stitching well done. Did u select your scrapes to match them up? I would love to make one too, but was just going to through the scrap colours together - not what you would do, if you were to make a regular quilt. How did you select yours?
I asked three questions. 1. Does it fit? 2. Does it "go"? 3. Is it any good for anything else? If I had the answer "yes" to questions 2 or 3 I didn't use that piece of fabric!
I think it is just wonderful, has a very happy feeling to it. I am so cross with myself as I forgot to visit an Ikea store when in England. That was a big mistake, although husband would think otherwise.
Lovely work for an ugly quilt. A very good way to use up scraps, lots of work but well worth the effort. Is it for anyone special in your life?
I don't know what will happen to it. The memories in the fabric scraps are mine so I may just keep it!
Very nice scrappy quilt. Good way to use up the scraps.
Thank you for sharing. Happy Stitching :~)
Well Sue I Think it is a Beaut!!!Scrap fabric makes the most Gorgeous Projects for sure!!!Well done!!!
W(OW!!! Just Beauty showing through the chaos!!! You did a fabulous quilt!!! Hugs, Judy...
Wow, Sue......you have just shown that there can be beauty in chaos, all one has to do is search for it...….great concept and beautiful work!!!
i am glad the quilt has a label. It is amazing how quilting and binding can change the feel of the piece. I for one love it,
Sue, you are an inspiration. I'll have a go at sorting my scraps in sizes and not as they are now on date (that's a nice way of saying when one was filled to the brim I started the next one .. and the next ...)
I am also sorting and using scraps. Only I am cutting 1 1/2- 2/1/2 inches and 3 inches My challenge is finishing something. Lots started. Have never tried to send picture
Congratulation on finishing your scrappy quilt
I love this! I appreciate your hard work on all your projects.
I think it is beautiful. Thankyou for helping me deal with something. This quilt epitomises the chaos in my life at the moment, but I can see that no matter how chaotic it may seem, if I look deep enough I may find something beautiful. Thankyou again for using your amazing talents.
Thank you for sharing this. It has made my day to think I helped in a small way.
