For needlework I'm better at simple patterns these days. Found a few easy ones that are a joy to stitch. Now that the heat has hit in California, it's the perfect time to block anything (yes, working with yarns when it's 90s and into tapping 100s seems counter-intuitive). But, they dry so fast, I can just put towels down on top of a rug and pin there for bigger stuff. Both patterns I swapped - the designer did one in heavier yarn and I made it lacy, the other designed lacy and I went heavier (after checking out what others had done on Ravelry). Both patterns are free. The light one was leftover yarn from a gift and I only had a small amount - ended up completely frogging it once and partially another time. The pattern - from Joanna on YouTube for the light scarf - came out equilateral and I wanted a wider triangle. So, I used her method but added a yarn over at both ends of the row not just one. With a stitch marker you don't have to think at all! The Eva's Shawl is just begun with yarn I've had for 20 years I thought I'd make an afghan with. Won't be as pretty as some, but I love navy and it will be perfect with jeans.

Thank you for sharing these. It makes my fingers itch to get back to my needle work while watching TV. Love that light blue yarn.
P.S. I removed the YouTube link since it did not work
