The designs are now available at Engineered in Stitches.
Awesome, Martine......love your demo as well......great digitizing!
I love your work!! I have what may be considered a silly question--what does it mean to "hang the notes on the scoreline?"
Not a silly question at all. The way I did the first two was to digitize the scorelines and then place the notes, which resulted in a lot of jumps. To avoid those in the other two I digitised the lines till they met a note (or anything else) then did the note and then continued with a bit of line, etc. So I tried to get a continuous line - which resulted in no jumps in autumn and a few in winter. But digitizing it took a LOT more time.
Awesome work! I love Vivaldi, too...and listen mostly the old classical style music. I can't think of a sweeter gift for a music teacher. Thanks for sharing these with us. Do you sell your designs??? or, just for your personal "fun"??? Avis
The towels are so beautiful--all four designs. You did excellently! Great talent you have.
Brilliant work no wonder your neighbour loved them. Love Chris
This is so cool. You also taught me a new word "chuffed". Thank you
Perfect! Quite as legible as a sheet of music. I'm sure our organist/choir director would love these as well.
Your work always amazes me as everything you create is so perfect and professional looking! Hanging the notes was a very clever solution. Of course she wants spring and summer! And, I want to see them when you finish them too!
Thanks! What amazes me is that you get them in the exact same spot on all the towels. I usually have trouble doing that.
Awesome neighbor would love these to she plays and sings lots***
Magnificent! You have made a work of art in many ways. It's some of my favorite music, too.
Thank you. I am quite fond of Vivaldi too.
The recipient is a retired teacher from the Groningen school of music. She immediately recognised Vivaldi's spring and summer. No wonder my neighbour asked for the other 2 season's at well.
