Sue I am just reading this and realizing you lost your wonderful Meg. I am so happy that you have found a puppy replacement. Such an adorable little face. I hope this new family member brings you much love. I send a big belated hug to you for your loss of Meg, and a big hug of congratulations for your new puppy gain. Sharon
I wish You a lot of fun with your new members of the family, hugs Maria
Oh so cute, we also have a BC so can relate to your loss. Yes they certainly keep you young. Am glad you explained the New York part was a bit surprised when I first read your post.Happy training and walkies!!
So cute we also have a border collie and can relate to your loss this little one is going to give you lots of joy and work !!
Did not finish what I wanted to say so posted two sorry for confusion. Put it down to morning before coffee
Love Border collies! And, yes, they are sooooo smart!! Looking forward to pictures! Even the ones when she gets into trouble!
Congratulations on your new family member ,who will find things you never knew that you still owned. You now have 2 months to puppy proof your house.Electrical leads are great to chew ,thankfully a lot of computer related items are now wi fi ,so less to remember about.
Put Maisie out side, as soon as she wakes up or eats ,this will help to cut down on toilet clean ups.
How sweet. Son n law lost his BC over a yr ago and is still devastated. Haven't been able to talk him into another yet. My daughter says if he had to choose between her and Tippy Tippy would have won hands down. She was so very smart and went with him everywhere accept church... I loved her also and really have missed her, she came everyday to see us.
She's gorgeous Sue. My Amy's dog is called Maisie too, but she is a Groodle. (Golden Retriever crossed with a Poodle) Mum's new puppy is giving her a run for her money and is like a whirlpool! I do hope she settles down - her name is Miss Lily Rose! Good luck with your Maisie. Love Chris
Oh, sweet puppy breath! Lucky mom and dad and luckier Maisie.
She is adorable, congratulations of your new addition to the family.
Omg....how adorable! At 1st I thought you came to the states for the puppy....
It's hard to fill the hole in your heart left when you lose a fur member of your family. But, a new puppy can warm your heart again and bring new adventures to your home. I want to know what your are going to name this darling little girl?
I wish you many years of happiness with your new family member! I, too am glad you clarified WHICH New York, since I was wondering why you didn't stop by to have a visit! :-)
She will fill the void fast in spite of all the work ahead. I am glad you stated where New York js located. At first I thought "Wow that is a long way to go, to pick out a puppy".
My girl is 13 years old and past the average age of a German Shepherd.
The thought often occurs to me.......what would I do.
I hope we will see future pictures of Maisie
I want one - but we are too old to start again. I had one a long time ago.I am jealous!!
Never too old! Find a rescue group for the breed you'd like and see if they have any "older" dogs available.
Sweet! I remember you wrote about Meg at 7 weeks: food goes in one end and appears at the kitchen floor a little later. Apart from that, I hope (s)he will be a bundle of joy!
I remember that so well. We had Meg for 13 years and she will be a hard act to follow!
Awwwww....so sweet! Have you picked out a name yet?
