Golly, were you in your own yard when the swarm found you? I can't imagine, I think I would be running like the cartoons and jump in a lake or puddle or something. All I see here in the city are skunks and raccoons. the fox are gone.
Yes, in the yard. Under some half-rotten limbs I was moving. Another lesson in cooperating with nature.
Okay, so today I came home and one had turned in my driveway ahead of me. By being quite still I was able to watch the deer for about 4 minutes as it cruised my yard for plant snacks. So. last winter, I saw a total of two deer. This year, so far, seven! Wow!
Ouch...so sorry to hear...hope you are recovering nicely...
For us in Texas the cooler weather is a welcome respite from the hot hot summer temps. Of course if the rain continues, we may be building an ark! Hope you feel better soon. Hugs. Nan W
I am sorry. Those nasty yellow jackets. I hope the swelling will go down soon. Here the nights are getting cooler but the day temps are a comfortable 70-85. Will not last very long and then the rainy season should start.
Ooh! those wasps can really sting too. I hope your swelling is starting to diminish. Put some ice on the bits that are sore! Love Chris
