Sorry Carolyn, I've been off the grid since Thursday and have only just come on here. This has turned out beautifully and thanks to Kim suggestion it's got a perfect finish. Love Chris
Ok, what did she say that made a difference for you? Curious people want to know! I love it that you give so much to others, and you are there to brighten their days.
If using WSS, it is always better to use some rubber shelf lining strips along long edges of the hoop to help prevent the WSS from shifting or loosening while stitching...especially helpful for ITH projects that are taken in and out of the sewing machine. This is especially helpful when there is dense embroidery within the project like the candle mat...Always better not to have to cut away the fabric until absolutely necessary and if at all possible after the embroidery is done...some digitizers have you cut the fabric at the beginning and that is not always necessary, but easier...Hope this makes sense...
Yes. It makes perfect sense. Thanks for the additional info. It will help me to improve my embroidery too. I use a lot of fsl and I'll have to try the rubber shelf paper. I actually have some in my sewing room. I have that trouble of wss shifting too.
Well, Congratulations, Carolyn...you sure did it! Always glad to help my Cutie friends when I can...
Love the bells!!! It turned out great for you. Kim is very knowledgeable and so grateful that she shares her talents. I too had trouble until I learned to stabilize better (still have some problems but am always learning).
Perfect edging Carolyn...and lovely mat on both sides
Because this sort of thing happens here is why I love Cute Embroidery.
These look great! We are always learning, especially from Cuties.
Cuties are the best helping each other. Love your work (and hers)!
This is a winner my friend, love it!
Hugs, Roberta
