I too would not have thought to use burlap to stitch on. But, these are just plain cute! Did you use a spray glue to hold them on the card?
Ordinary white glue. Adhere Burlap to tearaway stabilizer with basting spray. Because of the frame the stabilizer removes really easy, leaving enough free for the fringes. I leave the center stabilizer in place Easy to glue onto cards after.
I would never have thought to use burlap and them put them on cards. I think I need to use this ideal!
Thanks for sharing.
Lovely to see work from designs from 'here' Very pretty cards
I am such a FSL gal and quilter that I do not have many occasions to use Miss Veronika's designs. i did have fun doing these.
How darling. I still love that little avatar!
These are so awesome...….especially Veronika's avatar...….so sweet!
Thank you very much, it is very nice and touching...
Love and Hugs
Thank you for your talent to make all this possible.
Love and hugs to you as well.
Oh, these are lovely! Very lucky folks who receive one of these special cards!
Well done Angie, and I've put the link here for 'tinfriend'. Love Chris
Beautiful! Where can the 'Avatar' design be found please? Thanks in advance!
* 4 all!
See pennifold/Chris post. The numbers have changed and she found the avatar faster, I am still looking for the Santa Moon. I will add it as soon as I can find it.
Such cute Christmas cards. They mean so much more when you take the time to make them yourself!
Very nice...there are going to be some very happy card recipients this year!
I have to do the cardinal again. The Burlap had issues and I thought it would smooth out during the embroidery. Not..... Another lesson learned.
