Congratulations! They look fabulous and should serve you well for years to come! I love my double curved scissors!
Congratulations on your new babies. I love my curved embroidery scissors! Enjoy many pleasant hours of snipping.
I am glad you had a successful shopping spree. You gave me some idea. I think I will check out the Kai scissors myself.
I already have some very small Kai scissors but they are just wrong for jump stitches.
Great that you have found them . Let us know if they are pratical. I also need toget myself such a pair.
As I have said before, I LOVE Kai Scissors! I have three pair of the black handle ones...one pair tethered to each machine and one in my sewing basket. I love them as they are double curved and allow me to snip very easily while my project is still in the hoop....I was a bit surprised when you commented on your original post that you did not think that Kai scissors were good for embroidery thread snipping...glad you found what you needed....
Sorry Kim, what I meant was that the Kai scissors that I have are more for hand embroidery not very good for jump stitches.
No worries, Sarah....I was just a bit confused as I love these for cutting snips!
I love curved embroidery scissors, but have not used the double curved ones. Why did it take so much effort to find them? Hugs. Nan W
I live in a very small town in S. Africa where it is impossible to buy anything decent for sewing. I was in Johannesburg for Christmas where there are great sewing shops.
Well done Sarah, I love my curved applique scissors, mine are called Canary. Love Chris
I do not think that these would be any good for appliqué but I may try the chrome ones for that.
You will love both of those I am sure. I have both and I think the Kai scissors are the best I have ever used for both clipping threads and for machine applique. When I am doing the quilt in the hoop projects and need to clip the batting so very close to the stitching the Kai do such a great job.
