Welcome back lindalee. It's good to see one of our own come back to us.
I think what you are looking for is called Thumbnailer. I don't think it is free any longer. The company is called Embrilliance. Hugs. Nan W
Thanks everybody- I found a program last night after much searching and experimenting. I am now able to look at all my designs and then some- using Sierra Plug in. I ended up putting all the designs I had collected over the years onto an external hard drive-plus I do still have my individual smaller flash drives. We are "snowbirds" for a couple months in Florida, so now am going to actually go through and really look at all me emb. designs and start weeding out, now that I can open up the thumbnail of all the designs. So far so good. And hey! I discovered I still have a lot of the old Designs By Cuties!!!
Welcome back to the family. I hope you are up and running with your embroidery quickly.
Welcome back, Linda! I see you have gotten some advise below....I use Embird with their Iconizer. In understand you don't want to invest in Embird, and I see that the Wilcom free editing software has been suggested by Angie. I do not know of a free program what will allow you to view your stitch format designs as images...Perhaps another Cutie will come along and know of one.
OESD has free artlink. I use it lots to look at designs etc. I don't have to pack my dongle for this so I have it on my laptop.
I can private message you. Go to inbox and wend me message. I have used it for years.

Welcome back and thanks for reposting here. I know that a number of Cuties use a very inexpensive programme called Sew What Pro which probably could help you. I have a embroidery programme - PE Design so I use that. Someone soon will be along with the answers you need. Enjoy your return to your sewing and embroidering and being back here
This is one that I know that converts. I can not recall the one that give you a thumbprint view. I am sure someone is going to come along and help you out
Thanks anyway- I really wasn't looking so much for a conversion program as I was one that would show me the thumbprints that I used to have before my old PC croaked. Found what I was looking for!
