I have been asked to embroider as a gift a "bookbag" for two young girls.
I have no idea what to embroider as the girls go to Madrassa (Islamic School) and I would like to embroider something appropriate.
Obviously as it will be a once off item I would like to find a freebie.

Type "Muslim Embroidery Designs" in Google and you will find many designs that could be appropriate. Did not find anything free but some of the prices are very reasonable.

I wouldn't think it needed to be a specifically Islamic design. Girls are girls, you would just need to be careful that it wasn't anything that might be considered offensive. I would think books would be acceptable. Hope you get some good suggestions and it all comes together for you.
