The monsoonal trough has reached us in North Australia

Our Dam is 160% full. All the schools have been closed,
Landslides, trees falling on houses and cars, flooded roads, highways and houses. we are expecting more rain up to 1000 mls. This is a picture of a 3.5 mt croc walking along the main highway north of us. This is the reason we don't jump into waterways and go swimming. There was traffic controller close by unaware of the pending danger. lucky the driver of this car alerted her.

Now that’s something you don’t come across too often. I hope the weather settles throughout the world - it’s global warming gone wild. Please keep safe and dry. Love Chris

Hope you are not in the area that is flooding the houses. Some of the footage on the TV is heart breaking seeing what people have lost.
Waiting patiently for some rain to come further south to the Brisbane area.

Poor Queensland is copping it Barb. Whilst we’ve been in Adelaide it’s been very hot- no rain at all for the whole month of January!! Love Chris

We're experiencing more rain today too. Praying that your dam doesn't fail. Hopefully Houston is managing the reservoirs around here better than they did during hurricane Harvey. I don't think I'm up to handling a third flood.

YIKES! Weather is crazy everywhere. Pays to stay informed everywhere. Do I take umbrella, snow shoes, or sunscreen? Decisions of the day.

So, no. I wouldn't jump into that water either. That's a serious croc in the road. He/she could wreck a car that ran over it unaware.Stay safe!

Yikes! Yes, I would swear off jumping into rivers, too! Sounds like the wildlife is only a small part of your troubles. Stay safe!
