Oh wow! This this is stunning! Everything from the color choices to the stitching is pure perfection! Well done!
Awesome job. I can only imagine how much time and love went into this quilt. No wonder your Mom was thrilled.
Beautiful job...no wonder your Mom was thrilled...
Beautiful Shisha, I'm sure your Mum will love it. You are a very talented lady.
Fantastic job! I love making the Bargello! It is a lot easier than it looks, too. I asked my librarian to order More Twist and Turn Bargello Quilts, by Eileen Wright, and it just came in last week. Have you seen the pattern that I can't remember the name of, but it has 'fire' or 'flames' in the title? I like that pattern too. Is this one called Argyle? Argyle is on the cover of this book in greens that the local library has now. I like your colors of blues and a cheery yellow.
Thank you! Yes, this quilt is the 'Argyle' quilt by Eileen Wright out of the book 'More Twist and Turn Bargello Quilts'. I have her other book (Twist and Turn Bargello Quilts) as well. I know Eileen - she lives about 2hrs from where we live.
I am not sure which pattern you are referring to with fire or flames in the title but you definitely have peeked my curiosity! If u happen to remember the name, please let me know so I can look it up!
And yes, u are correct - bargello quilts are not nearly as difficult to do as what they look. Quite easy actually...as long as you number your fabrics because otherwise, it is much too easy to get confused!
Amazing.
Do you need a foster Mum? My application is in the post.
I'm sure there is already a line out the door of folks applying for this position! LOL!
Haha! You two are funny! U don't have to become my foster mum to receive a gift from me! But I do need addresses tho.....oh and time! Lots of time! lol
