that must have been frightning, good you took him to the ER. Hope everything will be okay now you are both at home again. prayers and hugs are coming your way. take good care of your HB and yourself. hugs, Gerry
When I think back - I remember he didn't want to go to the ER, and he didn't want to be admitted to the hospital and he didn't want the procedure ... I had to talk him into each. He is a very smart man but I believe the circumstances were overwhelming! Thank you, Gerry!!!
Oh my gosh, Laura......what a blessing and miracle that your hubs has gotten through all this. Did the cold virus cause his heart issue, I have heard that sometimes an upper respiratory virus can travel to the heart. Prayers are heading your way for a rapid recovery....
Thank Vicki - they can't pinpoint the reason for his Afib but, he is on meds for his chest cold and for his heart. It was a shock that once they checked him out in the ER that they didn't even worry about his fall - that Afib got their attention right away!!! Thanks!! Laura
Laura, what a story. I hope everything is under controle now. Prayers and hugs send to you both. Linda
Thank you, Linda - he does have a visit to the cardio doctor in about a week. He has a few other issues that will be addressed then. Thanks bunches, Laura
Wowzer! Glad you got to your new normal with a shock and a new doctor.
Pleased to hear they have got it under control. I had my hubby take a turn and go out to it last April. He spent 7 days in Hospital and had nearly every test possible. We kept getting told different things. They finally put it down to a irregular heart beat, and is now on medication to control it. Hugs
Thank you - we'll learn more once he has his doctor's appointment in 10 days or so. Right now it is so nice to be relaxing at home!! Hope your husband continues to do well!!
Who would ever think that a cough and a fall would be blessings to be thankful for! And thank you Lord for these blessings in disguise. Our Lord transcends time so our prayers now are just as good as if we prayed them a week ago. And now you do have the support and prayers of your Cute family in real time. Please be sure to take care of YOU so you can take of your handsome hubby. Keep us updated and remember we are here whenever you need to vent, scream or just need a kind word.
Thank you, Karen. Your comment that our Lord transcends time makes sense as to how I felt. When I think how I had to talk my hubby into going to the hospital - and what they discovered - all because of that nasty cough and a fall - we were blessed! Thank you dear friend! Laura
Laura,
Wow! It is good you were with him. So glad he is on the road to recovery. Remember to take care of yourself too. Prayers and Blessing for you both!!! Tonya
Thank you, Tonya!! I appreciate your kind words! I need a little extra sleep - which I plan on getting!! Hugs, Laura
Oh my goodness...so glad that that he is doing better...such an ordeal to have to go through, but so glad they were able to diagnose him and help him.
Thank you, Kim!! We will have some life changes to make and some health issues to resolve - but, if we hadn't gone to the emergency room - well, I just don't even want to contemplate that! Thanks again, Laura
Those seconds make you realize how different life could be. I am happy to hear the worse is behind you both and hope for smooth sailing ahead. God bless you both-Toogie
We do have some heart issues to deal with but he is stable and feeling so much better. And he is under the care of two cardiac doctors! Thank you Toogie!! Hugs, Laura
Wow scary !! Prayers coming your way Hope hubby is doing better
He is still coughing a tad - has as much medicine for the cough as he does for his heart! Thank you for your prayers, Suzanne! Hugs, Laura
So many times trials come as a blessing, if the bad had not happened they might not have found the A fib. I know you are exhausted after all the time he was in hosp. Just keep leaning on the one who will see you both through all this. Prayers you will be getting from all over and this will help sustain you. Know you are loved and God Bless.
The fall was a blessing in disguise without a doubt. And, yes, you are so right - we are exhausted - My prayers were heard - I felt so thankful. Thank you, Lillian! Hugs, Laura
Hi Laura, so happy to read that your husband is on the mend. How scary for you all. I pray for all you Cuties every night so you had at least one from down-under keeping you covered. Love Chris
Thank you, Chris - I wanted to be in touch with you all - but, it wasn't to be. Thank you dear friend! Hugs, Laura
You were in my thoughts as I hadn't seen you comment. I had hoped for a fun vacation for you -- but -- I am just glad he is OK! A-fib is SO VERY tiring! I am glad you got to stay with him. Prayers for his continued improvement.
Oh, my - how about that!!! Thank you - it is such a relief to be back home. We still have much to do for his health - but are so very thankful that his heart problems were discovered. Thank you friend! Hugs, Laura
So glad you got the bigger problem diagnosed and hopefully dealt with. On to the new life!
Thank you so much - so strange how things work out - a true blessing! Hugs, Laura
Oh, dear Laura! So sorry to hear. He's home with his best nurse now and I will pray that he heals up quickly and gets back to his normal in no time. That little fall was a blessing in disguise.
Jerrilyn, we realize that his broken nose and black eyes are nothing compared to finding out about his heart condition - you are right, it was a blessing in disguise!! Thank you! Laura
Oh Laura that must have been so scary. I now pray that the medication he has been given will do the trick. I pray that you will enjoy being back in your home.
Hugs Angie
Oh Angie, thank you. You are so very kind - it was scary. Thank you for your prayers! Laura
