I see the apple didn't fall far from the tree when it comes to creativity!
What a great idea , especially for classes and workshops when you don't know everyone--it's always embarrassing to have to ask someone their name 2 or 3 times. I'd guess she could sell these if its not so labor intensive that it isn't worth her time.
I just asked her if anyone on Cute wanted their name in vinyl for their machine, did she want to make any. She said $5 plus postage and she would. I told her that's what the other ladies said they paid. So pm me if anyone is interested. ...I know I'm new to the QOV group so it sure helped me to know their name by looking at machine first.
Perfect! Don't have to worry about anyone mistaking it for theirs!
sweet and great !! no doubt who is the owner of this machine :)
When I went to the national QOV meeting most of the ladies had their names on their machines. They said one of the ladies sons made them for $5. each. Call it a stroke of luck or what, but when I went to my next home meeting my daughter sent me a text to show what she just bought, the Cameo machine. I told her she could make $5 for each name she made and she could start with mine and RoAnn's, as RoAnn was helping me cut borders that day for my fundraiser quilts. RoAnn wanted hers in pink as her new machine she bought at Jenny's MSQC had decals in pink.
Well now congratulations on your beautiful gift, you deserving girl you. Oh how it speaks of a daughter's love for her mom. So very, very proud for you.
Thank you Mrs Lillian. I need to call you again soon but this week is a busy time, days are full. Hope you are good,
What a sweet daughter. she sounds very much like you. That's a beautiful bag. I know it will be both treasured and used.
The bag was made some time ago, but you may have missed it. I used it for an example of the font I have for my name. My daughter wanted to know the emb design font name, but as It was unknown to me, I showed the bag with the font image. She got the red Toogie font in vinyl close, if not exact, but it doesn't have the curve in it like the emb design font. I am tickled with it though.
