I don't remember exactly how long I've had my beloved Brother machine, but it's about 12 years old. I looked it up, and I've put over 12.5 million stitches on it. I'm kind of proud of my workhouse machine. Wish I had a cool name for it.

My little 221 is named AUDREY, Only because she's beautiful, black and looks so cool.(like Audrey Hepburn) My Other machine a Babylock is named ELIZA. Someday I want an embroidery machine her name will be Olivia(?) Just like the sound of the name.
an upholster who has a small shop close by calls his Singer machines
Roy and Rex, Said he enjoyed cowboy movies when he was young and this way their memory lives on.

that's a good idea--it's a tough machine, and I've learned so much using it.

You should be proud! It's amazing how many stitches we put on our machines and we don't even realize how hard we work them. I have Babylock machines and yes, I have named them too. I like dailylaundry's suggestion of Alex.

One if the embroidery groups I'm in has menu members who have names their machines, and even decorate them with stickers.

I've got a Brother Quattro Innovis eye 6700D (Disney) machine and I love it. But at heart I'm a Husqvarna gal! I've had a few of them over the years and my newest one I bought in August is a Husqvarna Ruby Royale. She sews beautifully and both machines are work horses too!!
Love Chris

I thought i would never want a brother; I thought that since wal mart had them that they weren't very good. I was hesitant when my husband got a brother, but I have loved every minute of it. Makes me happy to watch it work.

Which Brother do you have? My smaller machine is a Brother 1500D. I bought it ages ago and it is a never fail machine! I wish it had a few of the newer extras on it - but all in all I can't complain!! Perhaps you could name your Brother machine, Alex - short for Alexander the Great!

I have an Innovis 4000D, and then I purchased an upgrade several years ago so I really don't know what it is now-a 4500? One dealer told me it was a duetta now. It is a combination embroidery/sewing machine, and it sews jus as well as it embroiders.

Maybe someone can come up with a cool name for her. She deserves one.

She does. My dear husband surprised me with her for Christmas one year, and I've loved machine embroidery ever since.
