I would never have known. I love it. It does look like the old airmail envelopes of yesterday I remember them quite well.. Seems the older I get the more I love the older things. Great, great job my dear.
Great QOV and will absolutely be loved by one of our precious veterans
Well as the Amish say nothing can be perfect except for God. The only thing I can see Toogie, is the lower border is about half an inch out on the bottom, but that's me being really picky! It looks fabulous, you've done such a wonderful job. Love Chr
Well, I must be Amish as it, and I, am far from perfect. I think the fabric may not be smoothed out, or may be the way it looks in the pic, because border edges are even. Look below at my explanation in dailylaundry's comment.
I would never have picked that, so you've done an awesome job in fixing the seams. Well done you. Love Chris
Wow! It looks great. I even enlarged it and it looks perfect to me. Kudos to you.
Looks absolutely fabulous, toogie! The recipient will be thrilled!
Beautifully done Toogie. Can not find any mis-figure. It will make a veteran proud.
I hope so thanks. look below at my explanation in dailylaundry's comment. I said in the picture it looks like an old Air-Mail letter-lol
Oh, wow this is terrific!! I don't see a problem anywhere! Hugs, Laura
I had to take a deeper seam on the middle 4 blocks, at the top and bottom, to make it even at the corners. I thought I had made my borders to fit the stripe half star triangles and they did on the sides, but not top or bottom. Thanks for looking!
Nice job, Toogie...lucky that you have someone to quilt it for you!
There are several members that have long arms willing to quilt for QOV. Thanks!
