I am trying to keep up with it all Betsey. Praying. Church is praying for them also.
National news is telling us that the community of Beauregard is pulling together over this tragedy, but this is not quite accurate. Everything I have known about this little rural community is that they were already very loving, taking care of needs of others and very unified around their schools and one particular church there. Everyone I have met from there is wonderful, including about six of the workers at my favorite sewing store!
Today we have heard the sad stories. I am looking forward to the wonderful stories of neighbor helping neighbor and stranger helping stranger in the days ahead.
Oh! my Betsey, this is just so tragic. What is happening to the world's weather? I will certainly keep these counties upheld in prayer. Love Chris
I heard about the tornadoes and pray for all the people gong to this devastation.
Such a tragedy...I can't even imagine. Thoughts and prayers to all impacted...
I have been praying for them. It breaks my heart to see the devastation there knowing that the pictures show only a small bit of what is really happening. It's hard for me to see this knowing what it has been like for Panama City and surrounding area since Michael last year.
It seems at least once a week there is a new weather disaster somewhere in the world. When will we start caring for our planet so that it can provide us with a good place to live? Prayers for those who lost their lives and homes and those who love them.
Betsey, am I understanding that there are 22 fatalities?
Mostly Beauregard. Smith Station lost 30 some houses, but no lives at last report.
Jrob that is what they are saying on the news. Not quite sure what Tornado and where.
I heard about this last night - these tornadoes took so many lives. They are expecting the number of deaths to rise. So very sad! They are in my prayers, Hugs, Laura
