Toogie, love your bag. Jeans these days are not like the old ones.
I have bins of old jeans I want to make some bags and quilt from them.
Thank you for the idea and the link for the bag pattern
Hugs Brenda Lea
You're very welcome. I am always so glad to help if I can. You're right about the jeans.... I don't like the stretch ones.....
On Blueprint or Craftsy there is a pattern called Reversible Tiki Tote by Midnight Quilt Show's (I think her name is ) Angela Walters. While not this hexie pattern it is a braid. Link is below.
I have not made this one though, but you can also watch her on You Tube, if you don't understand something. Good luck-Toogie
I really do like it wish I could make one great job
Thank you. If you're uncertain and need help, just you tube and watch videos, to build up your confidence, then just cut and sew and most of all have fun!
I wish I had a tenth of your talent. Just think what I could do. It is beautiful and very practical.
I love this bag! You have done a great job, Toogie.
Hugs, Lidia
Very nice!! Love the design and the fabric. It will last through the toughest conditions.
You have made another lovely bag. Love the colours. Great work Toogie
Great Tote, I can see where this is going to be used a lot!
Great bag. Toogie! Your bags are all so well done. As far as your name placement, I would have thought you had picked the spot...it think it is exactly where it should be!
lol-thanks-I took it to my QOV meeting today and some were taking pictures of it and wanting to make them one.
Fabulous bag Toogie great way to use stash..
I think I'm using it up and then they tell me they have more. When my SIL came in, I told him these were his old jeans (except for the stretch), he told me he has more he'll bring next time.
Awesome job on this bag Toogie. I've got a pattern that I've had for a year which I want to make into a bag, but have yet to give it a go. Love Chris
I know what you mean Chris, about time, but I didn't have a pattern for this one. Is your pattern a tote? I'm curious.-lol
Yes, it's tote style, but has lots of zips and piping etc. I'll eventually get to it. Love Chris
Grat job, love it. Wonderfull pattern and effect. Will also look great in wool-felt or leather.
You are just amazing. Does anything ever stop you from trying to create something you saw? Love your bag
I like a challenge so I guess the answer is 'No". My SIL ask if I was going to start making bags like this now. I told him no, it's one of a kind,I just wanted to see if I could do it.-lol
This is awesome!!! We will all be standing in line for one!! You are amazing!!!! Hugs, Laura
I love it too! I want one. You do the best bags. Love you signature at the bottom. that is so cool! Handmade is the best.
