I am now reluctant on going to any site. I truly apologize for my lack of knowledge in downloading anything illegal. When the bookmark took me to the page, I just thought it was their freebee section. My intent was not to steal anything.

I hate this had to happen to us. Things like this put a bad taste n your mouth. Some people have no scruples & the innocent wind up the hurt party. *4U

To be on the safe side I have deleted everything I did not know where it came from. That way I am safe. Don't want anything that wasn't a feebie or things that I have bought. Should take care of it right?

What type of designs were able to be downloaded? I don't think I did but if I did I want to delete them as well. I only go to sites that are posted here. Not in bookmarks at least I don't think I have. What kind of designs does he have????? I'm not good at this.........all new to me.I haven't gotten an email at all.

Jerrib,Sweetie, I knew nothing about this until a few minutes ago. After thinking about all these post, I realize he is all " Bull ----" He has looked through the Bookmarks and Profiles and sent emails to people when he found E-mail address. I don't think we should open any e-mails from him. He doesn't have the right to threaten you via E-mail. A registered letter would be different and I don't think Veronika would release any personal info on anyone. I am sorry he has up set our happy group. I hope he stays up for days reading all our post and he will realize we are good and caring people.

Thank you. I didn't receive an e-mail from anyone, just read all the messages here and knew that I had downloaded a couple of the designs and was sorry for my ignorance. I look forward to looking through the Community info and this is a fun and caring group of ladies and gent. I get so much pleasure reading everyone's comments and seeing all their projects. It just a shame that this happened and has upset the group.

What site is this Jerrib and what designs were they? IF I went there( can't remember if I did) I also want to delete any thing I might have? I don't remember the site but I don't want to download anything that is illegal. I will delete. Please tell me ok? thank you and a *4U

The site was in the bookmark section and was called The Quiltery. Go to the Community and you will see all the info on what has happened.

I totally agree, we all trust each other on this site and wouldn't do anything that was illegal, if we knew we where doing it. When I went to the link nothing told me I was download designs that weren't free, I assumed that if I could download the design it was free. I am not very computer savy so was unaware I was doing something wrong.
