Wow ! Great work ! There's a lot to learn from you ! Wish I could be near you to learn something. Is there something that you're not able to do ?Love, Marie
Martine while your embroidery machine has had a rest you have been busy elsewhere with this amazing collection of knitting. I can knit but am a slow knitter and still need to finish a cardigan which was started ten plus years ago. Thanks for the inspiration.
Your knitting amazes me! You do such wonderful work! I don't know the difference between a knit and a purl! And thanks for the hard work being a moderator! Suzanna
My goodness, Martine.....you have certainly been busy......wow!! I have not picked up my knitting needles since my last show......I need to start up again, but needed some inspiration.......these are all beautiful!
Given all the work you have done lately and all the new designs I can imagine there was not much time left for knitting. I am looking forward to seeing your new creations when you get inspiration!
wow, lovely creations, the first picture is my favourite. you did a wonderful job with these.
Wow! Martine, you have been busy. I love your knitting and particularly the purple one. I think you are brilliant to be able to do all this work. Well done, love Chris
Thanks, Chris. The purple is not a colour I have used for quite a few years but I think it's lovely - and there's a lot left.
You have been so busy. They all look wonderful. For me I just love the grey/ pink and mauve one - my colours.
Thank you. I like that one too. I mixed 3 different ones from 5 different cones of industrial yarn to give me a variety of shades and colours.
Oh Martine how lovely they all are. Beautiful jobs all. Especially love the purple, like Carolyn I really love that color..You have so much talent. Have always appreciated your work and your help. Good to see you doing what you love to do. Big hug for you!
It just occurred to me today that I hadn't seen you around! Love the multistripe cardigan. Does that come in my size?
You have been busy. Love all your creations. Hugs
All your projects look wonderful,My knitting skill is very low, But I would rather be sewing or quilting .
Beautiful work mops! I admire all your knitting skills and look forward to seeing what you do next. Sadly, I too embroidery a lot less lately, as I'm busy with other projects, but at least we are doing something.
I too had a lot of other things on my plate. But I really have a deadline now for embroidering so I'll have to get started :)
I loved you quilts!
Each item is nice than the last - Your talent amazes me!!!
I love seeing your knitting projects. They are so beautiful with the colors. Store bought knitted items just are not the work of art that handmade items are.
Wow you have been busy. You will be warm with all those great sweaters,
I am with you. I love the relaxing part of knitting. I must say that I am not much in the mood for larger projects and that is why I knit hats, socks, scarfs etc. I am in the brainless mood. Glad you got your knitting machine going. I am afraid that the sponge-bar in mine may have deteriorated.
I am afraid I knitted sweaters for 8 and 10 years old - not up to do my size or my husbands. But I made some others very happy.
My knitting has been mostly of the brainless type as well. Although the machine knitting needs careful calculation - which I did using a calculator just to make sure.
When using the machine I got all sorts of ugly stitches and that's why I had it serviced. Turned out the sponge-bar needed to be replaced and the professional cleaning of the places I could not easily reach made everything go lighter and smoother. The green one is the first since then.
Knitting fascinates me. I wish I had learned when I was younger. These are such beautiful creations.
Thank you.
I learned to knit some 75 yrs ago. It is like swimming or cycling - your speed may be down after a long time of not doing it, the technique is still there.
My speed has gone up since I took it up again 2 years ago when someone gave me a lot of yarn.
I think you have been busy. They are all adorable and very nicely done Love your work.
they are all great, I remember way back when I would spend hours knitting. Not sure the sings and shoulders could handle it anymore but I always appreciate hand made knitted items. so cozy and warm
hugs
Thank you.
I find that the use of a circular needle takes a lot of pressure of the shoulders.
