This will ba treasure 4 her. You've done a marvelous job dk *4U
The book you've made for your Granddaughter is great Dkjack. Sounds like it has been a lot of work but you can bet that it will be loved & well used.
This is lovely. I put the paperdoll and clothes I embroidered in a cardboard box, but this is so much nicer. How do you attach them? Velcro? Or do I see pinheads?
They are attached with doubled backed stick on velcro. Fussy side on the back of the clothes so that when they put the clothes on the doll it will not bother the stitching. I send an extra roll of velcro to my daughter in laws so they have some if the velcro wears out.
This is lovely! What a sweet thing to do for her. I hope that she treasures your labor of love. I hope that it brings her many hours of joy!
I loved paperdoll when I was growing up. I want to make embroider "paper"dolls for my granddaughters too. Since I don't digitize I have bought a couple of sets. This is lovely and I would love to see all 12 pages.
how lovely! am sure your granddaughter will love it. *4u
Your granddaughter is lucky to have you for a grandma. She'll love this book. I've wondered what to do with paper dolls.
Thank you. I always loved paperdolls and decided to see if it would work embroidering them. This is my 4th book. Each were of a different paper doll. I tried to find scenes for the pages that went with the outfits and interests of the granddaughter receiving it.
You are one very special grandmother we can see. It shows in what you do for your lovely little GD. Your book is beautiful.
I raised sons! I am having a ball sewing for my granddaughters. My two grandsons aren't left out either. :)
Deb, yuo have put love and care into your pages and I am sure this will be treasured as it should be. *4U
I know she will be tickled. Most of the pages are things she likes to do. It was fun, but after 4 books, I look forward to something new. :)
Wow, this is lovely. Such a good idea and lots of work there. *4U
