These are precious. Show us more pages, so we can see the doll. I loved paper dolls when I was little. It was my first attempt to design clothes and embellish them.
Ireally like this, my grandaughter would too. How did you make the book.can you tell ma where I could find instructions. Many thanks.
Sorry, I've been out of town. I will also post the websites for the cloth book instructions to you in the Q & A. If you need any other help, please let me know.
Takes me back to my paper doo days as a child & that was a long, long, time ago even before TVs *4U
I love it... I would love to make my daughter one
Go for it! If you google "paperdolls" you would not believe the sites you find. Some even have free paperdolls to download. That is where I got mine.
Chubbylilblkcat, I saw your profile and will add you to Raels birthday list. She does such a good job and I'm only a back up and reminder. Sorry we missed June 24 for you.
How cute! Tell us more about it! Where's the doll? Can you store the part & pieces in the book, or is it just a book with background scenes for play with the doll?
Oh! I was going backwards! Will check out the other pages BELOW this one! I've often been going against the flow!
Thanks. The doll and clothes are attached to the book with double backed velcro (soft side on the clothes and doll so that when you put the clothes on the doll it doesn't rub on the stitching. Everything is kept attached in the book. For the stitched pictures, I tried to do scenes that go with the outfits and that mean something to that particular granddaughter. That was the long process of planning the book. I also send along an extra roll of the velcro for my daughter in laws in case it wears out in the book. My granddaughters get upset if they loose pieces to anything! :)
I just love what you have done with this book. Well done. *4U
I love this!! I have wanted to make a cloth book for my daughter. This inspires me!
