Hi Cuties, I’ve finished my Pentecost banners.

Special thanks to Meganne for digitising the flames and for Kim who digitised the Dove.
I’m on my phone and don’t have the back quilt labels on my phone. I have them on my camera. I’ll post pictures of them a bit later. I took them to my priest this afternoon and he was thrilled with them. They are 6 feet long.
Now I can relax and do things for me. Love Chris

Outstanding job, Chris...no wonder your priest was thrilled! I am sure these will be cherished by all at your church, too. Did you do raw edge applique or turned?

Hi Kim, I sewed out the Dove as per the applique process. I then sewed it onto the banner very close to the edge with a straight sewing stitch. Once Nicola had quilted it it was perfect. Thanks once again. Love Chris

The Holy Spirit flames one had pins still in the top of the banner, hence it not sitting flat. Love Chris
