Oh Martine, If only you knew how many boo-boos I've made! Glad to hear that most of us have been there, done that. Glad you had a great trip.
This really made me smile. I am so pleased that I am not the only one who makes these sort of mistakes.
LOL, we've still go it sister! Hold your serious face when you give it to the recipient.
Oh Martine, thank you for sharing...it can get confusing and frustrating sometimes, I know this first hand....I love your remedy for the issue and it is a one of a kind now!
Hi Martine, I sense your frustration and I know how you feel - I've done it many times! Glad you've got sunshine and a beautiful day to garden. Love Chris
I just returned from a trip to Germany - beautiful weather both there and at home. So the garden needs some attention today.
I think I've had basically this same experience. Good to know we're human.
I admire your patience! Some days I have the patience to work through things, other days I think "this is not worth it" and out it goes. Your story is a testament to your determination to make your work as perfect as you can to get the wonderful results you get!
This made me smile. There are days like that and I am glad you did not give up.
I had a day, of piecing a quilt top, just about like yours. Nothing went right the first time and I ripped as much as I sewed. I am glad your creative side kicked in and you came up with the perfect solution. Bravo for you!.............now don't drown yourself while watering!-lol-Have a good day, Toogie
I hope it made you feel better you aren't the only one.
I had a marvellous day today.
Don't you just love days like that! NOT! Good for you to not give up. I know that little shirt will be appreciated. It now has an interesting story to tell. I hope the rest of your day went well.
Thanks for the kind words. Nobody is perfect but some days I am less perfect than others.
oh Martine, some days it looks like everything is going wrong.....Well it kept you busy.and finally the result was good. Now enjoy the sun, have a wonderful day )))
I certainly did have a great day. And I did a lot of sewing stuff like repairing seams that had become undone, replacing elastic, finishing a few bags.
Martine what a great story and it goes to show that we all make mistakes sometimes.
