I want to be your neighbor! What a deal you both got and I say kudos to both of you. You do so much to help people, I'm delighted your room is getting too small...again. Maybe Rylan can help you come up with ideas to use up some of the fabric.
That would be so nice, to be neighbors!..I did use up all my browns on a quilt top I just made but luckily here I got some more-lol
Toogie your ability to sniff out a bargain once again is brilliant. Happy creating with this lot and for you daughter too
My daughter gets all the credit sniffing this one out. I had just awoken, so you can't say it was me, this time.-lol-I'm sure we will both put it all to good use.
what a great story.. was there still fabric left for the other person? lol
well for sure you can keep yourself busy next few months.
Yes there was plenty left so that's when I thought of Kathy and she got the ones in the last photo and an even better deal.
Busy, you say?
Wow is all I can say as well. I never seem to come across deals like that. I did once have a friend bring several large garbage bags of fabric to me. It was fun picking what I wanted and then passing the rest on to another friend who does charity quilts. Enjoy your haul. Hugs. Nan W
With all I have been given and with all my good deals, my room is starting to be too small....again. I sew every chance I get, but lately not everyday like I would like to. When my daughter called and told me I thought it was $2 a yard and when she said $2 a bolt, I bolted!-lol
Wow ! what a Jackpot you won ! Have fun ! Can't wait to see all the things that will come out from all that . Love Marie
I need some new ideas, do you have any? BTY, if I haven't told you, welcome to Cute!
Wow what a win fall you both had, I see lots of sewing in your futures. Look forward to the results.
I look forward to sewing regularly again, but it won't be until after August. I keep Rylan all the way up until my next trip which will be the end of July and into August. Then I will have to start sewing for another trip in November.
Wowzer! Have fun with it all! Is that another panel second to the right? This all would go so well with my collection. Lol! I have a thing for muddled browns.
I'm not sure which picture you're looking at but there was only one panel, the Coca Cola panel. I do have two browns which is great because I have at least one more deer quilt to make. My daughter wants the window look but not necessarily the bricks.
That is the front of a quilt Kathy bought. The flip side was done in a chenille technique.
Toogie! And you expect us to believe this!!!! Wow. Time to get busy.
What a wonderful find! To be truthful, I believe that you are so very generous and kind in all your walks through life that these come to you as blessings for your generosity and love... I can't wait to see what you do with all of this!
I am blessed for sure. I just counted 81 yards of fabric! So all that and a panel, plus 2 finished quilts for $51. I just text my daughter my yards and we both think we did great!
I agree with Kim. You deserve every bit of that bargain. Count your blessings.
What a great shopping day. Hugs
Yes it's not often we go anywhere together and this was rewarding for us both.
Wowzers! You sure found a gold mine of deals!!! Congrats and happy stitching! Love your gray & yellow quilt! And that farm fabric is great, too!
I hope to make my hubby something with that. I just need to get a tractor panel! I like the quilt too it feels great
Wow what bargains!! I bet you are having new ideas a plenty, now to find the time. LOL
Just when I was cleaning last night I thought, I need to share some of this with my sister next times she comes. She doesn't keep much on hand and doesn't sew nearly as much but when she makes something she has to go out and buy... not too cheap that wa
