Last night was our county Dairy Princess contest and on my way my daughter calls me......the one contestants top of her gown split at the zipper. I turn around and head home for supplies and then proceed to stitch her into her top. Fortunately she had a 2 piece as she didn't have to take her top off for her skit. This young lady was very appreciative and won the contest....she will have a story to tell during her reign!!!

Daughter was on the committee so she knew I was on my way but didn't realize that I was so close before I turned around. Just glad it worked out.

Yes, I am very happy for this young lady. My oldest daughter had been Dairy Princess in 2000-2001......I remember sewing her dresses for the pageants.

The young lady told me after the banquet that she was so grateful and that she was afraid to breath!!! lol She went on to win the contest.
