Nice Rylan spent his time with you and was easy to take care of.. Good thing for power naps too. He is getting to be such a big handsome boy
Prayers are still with you all!
Here he is playing with his Lincoln Logs. They are rounded ' sticks', so to speak, that have notches cut out about half inch from each end. That way no matter the length of the log they all fit in the notch, just like a log house. (You may can see some of his cut in this picture)
I edited to upright photo and to show we have 2 sets of Lincoln Logs. Maybe you can see in the photo the containers, for those that didn't know about them.
Haven't heard Lincoln Logs in awhile. We use to play with them all the time "back in the day"....I guess today's version would ge Legos...
I never played with them but my kids/grands did. I'm sure Lego's took there place as these look more like forts and log cabins. Legos are the modern version, I guess you would say.
So glad to hear the day went well. Let's hope and pray that this is a sign of how the rest of your time together will go. Hugs. Nan
I was really pooped when his dad picked him up. Good thing I have a day to rest in between him staying. I want to tackle my closet today. I have been putting it off.
So pleased that you had a great day and it's a great thing to both take a nap at the same time. Prayers for Rylan and your daughter too. Love Chris
Thanks Chris, they are better and boy I needed that nap as much as him and I don't usually take a nap because I don't sleep much at night already.
I love all of the good news you had to share. Rylan just becomes more and more handsome by the day. I'm it went well and prayers will continue.
Thanks K, I knew you'd be wanting to hear. He really minds well. He's so smart when I went to put him in the high chair to color while I cooked he put his foot on the rung and then put it down. He said I can't climb. He remembered he wasn't suppose to climb on anything so he won't fall.
Good news and hope the rest of the days are equally good. Please what are Lincoln Logs?
good news all went well, the health of Rylan and the time he spent with you. oh and what a great idea to take a nap together, good for the both of you...hugs )))
😉I needed that nap as much as him but mine was a short one. He slept about 2 hours!
I am glad to read you had a good day. Fortunately the young ones need a nap. Time for the adult to recuperate. Good for you to take a nap as well.
I called it a power nap, about 15 minutes and I'm good to go again. I thought you would like to hear. Grand-daughter-in-law went back to work Thursday, a week today. She actually started a new job,at a hospital closer to home and same town hubby works. My son was off Thursday and Friday so he kept him. Then both her and grandson were off Monday holiday. This week her mom said she'd kept him Tuesday and Thursday so that made me only have Wednesday and Friday. Her mom keeps the new baby so I know it's hard for her to keep Rylan too. They really are trying not to wear me out, I know , so if they do like this week with a day in between I will be ok.
