Everything you do is out of love for your family. I admire how you just seem to go with the flow and handle each problem as it comes up without fuss. Hopefully, you daughter will get out of the hospital soon!
She came home thank you. She actually looked and said she felt so much better. Her husband is off the next two days, Sunday and Monday, but she wanted the kids to come home, so I got to meet with my sewing group today. Yea!
My goodness Toogie…….so overwhelming...….good thing you are a strong support for your family and you will get through this! Check your inbox, I sent you a PM....
You do what you have to for your family, at the time you're needed, no question about it. I guess I've just been really tired lately. I told my husband I didn't know if maybe I was getting sick, or I just needed to converse with someone over the age of 5!-lol
Sorry that the shoe keeps dropping!!! Glad that you are available to help your family!
I am glad too, as her in-laws are having their own health issues, and the MIL is my husband's age. She is scheduled for a pacemaker Tuesday. The FIL is only 6 years older and he can hardly get around. He's been falling, hurt his back, had to have surgery and fell again just the other day and got a brain bleed too. Thank goodness his was not as serious as little Rylan's. He's the one the QOV quilt went to, with all the fancy quilting stitches. We wanted to get it to him as soon as we could get it quilted, because of his deteriorating health.
It never rains but it pours. I do hope your daughter will be ok soon and everything will get back to some semblance of normal.
Sending huge hugs
Oh Meg, a hug feels good! Thanks, I already have a week full next week, so tomorrow I do need to come home from church and rest.
Hope everyone is better. Hugs for yiou
Let's keep our fingers crossed....and legs and whatever else-lol Thanks for the hug and she did come home and is feeling much better. I guess fluids was what she needed, as everything she drank or ate had been going right through her.
So sorry to hear of all your troubles Toogie. Sending you a big hug from half way around the world
Oh my when it rains it pours! And poor you. Hope your daughter's stay in the hospital is short and no one contracts the virus. To me there is nothing worse than being sick in the summer time. Hugs and prayers for you all. Nan
Thanks Nan and you're right. Being sick in the winter seems like it's expected, but not in the summer when the weather is so pretty.
Oh dear. I hope everyone is getting better and no one catches the virus.
So far, so good. She came home and the kids went home and it feels so good-lol- I didn't get any sewing done today but we had a QOV presentatation for just a couple of Veterans, met their families, had lunch and adult conversations!!!
So sorry Toogie seems to be no end. Prayers for you all.
Thank you Mrs Lillian, think of you often, but doesn't seem like I've had too much 'me time' to even sit down and call you. I do love you and hope you are having some good days.
They are so fortunate to have you and your hubby! Hope no one gets sick! Hope your daughter recovers quickly! Hugs and prayers! Laura
I just got off Facetime with her, for the kids. She said they are mainly concerned that her blood pressure is still low. They have her on the drip for fluids and given her meds for nausea, so she said she hasn't thrown up anymore. I'm not sure about the diarrhea. Thanks Laura for the hope, hugs and prayers.
Major prayers are being sent up for all of you. I'm glad the kids are doing well again. I hope your daughter will feel much better once they get her hydrated again and she regains her strength quickly. I guess you can never have a predictable day. But the closet will get sorted out again. I'm sure the kids will all be big helps bringing items to you to put away.
I have 4 black garbage bags in the hall, each about half full so it won't be too heavy, and I've hardly made any extra closet space it seems. I'm not through though, but everything is back in place for now. ..You are right. It seems no matter how hard I try, I can't plan a day for ME. I went for an hour, at our last QOV meeting 8 days ago, just to turn in a quilt top to be quilted and pick up more fabric to make another. I have made it, but only because I didn't have Rylan until Wednesday. There is a special 2 days of sewing tomorrow and Saturday. I thought I would have Rylan tomorrow and be able to go Saturday. Now I have Gus and Nora so, so much for planning me a day....I am so looking forward to July!!!-lol
BTY- Rylan will be staying at Taylor's moms while I have Gus and Nora. They seem to be over it, but she/we didn't want to take any chance of him catching the virus.
Mother is a lifetime job. They should have warned us. I hope she recovers quickly.
Yes, I started young, so I'd be young when I got through...no one told me it doesn't end!!!-lol
I hope she recovers fast too for all our sakes!
