I wore one for 2 months before and it finally got better.
If you lived close, he'd make you one too.
What a talented family you have. The extension came out
nice, hope it will solve your wrist problem when quilting.
The quilt is also lovely.
Aren't Hubbies wonderful!
And you are just amazing!
hugs n love, Meg
Great table. Yup! He's a keeper. He supports what you love to do.
Now I have been waiting an awful long time for a peg board to hang stuff....sigh😓
That is so smart! Between the both of you, everything can be figured out. And now I know what a buzz cut quilt is. Suzanna
Love your extension! Your husband did a fantastic job on it.
Nice job on the quilt and table. Hope it helps your wrist.
Happy Stitching :-)
Wonderful! Makes me so miss the days when my hubby could do things like that for me. "Hug him every morning and kiss him every night 'cause these days a good man is hard to find" Remember that song? It goes way way back, probably when you were real small.
I know that song and a lot of other good ones like it. Songs that had a lot of good messages and meaning. I know you miss him.
You are so blessed to have a handy husband. Lovely quilt top and runner. Hugs. Nan
I know I am, if I see something sewing related I think I could use, he usually can make it for me. The top is like the last one only fabrics a little different, especially the borders. The other piece is actually two pieces fabric, on one piece of batting, that will most likely end up being a small bag. I just cut it to practice out my extension.
It's great, I think that you will use it lots. Love the quilt top. Can you please tell me what Buzz Cut means?
ha, ha- Buzz Cut- my idea of a buzz saw spinning, like a circular saw blade. If you look on quilters cashe they have a buzz saw block, a little different than this one tho.

When our military guys enter the service they used yo give the all the same hair cut.....a buzz cut!
( I know it's a stretch of the imagination, but it works for me!)
Better and bigger then any extension you could have bought. You both are very talented people.
It is a solid extension for sure and it will fit another machine I have too, so that is great. BTW, I sent you an email yesterday.
That looks terrific what did he use to make the extension table?
It look like it was meant to be there.
He sure does nice neat work.
Thanks and he used anything he already had. The only thing we would have had to buy, we got from his niece. She had some leftover cabinet top glue, when we remodeled her kitchen last year. All the other he used was scrap pieces, hence the pieced top. He didn't have a piece quite large enough to encircle the machine entirely so he had to piece it. He then routered all the edges smooth, so fabric won't snag. I will tell him you like his work. He has made me thread racks, thread holders, and together we built our house we are living in. We had help from friends and family for the roof, one certified electrican nephew help wire and one cerified a/c heating nephew help install central air/heat system. We also got a guy to install flooring. Other than that mostly we, and our son on occasion on his days off, built the rest.
