Please don’t be anxious. I have many friends who have had this op done. It seems to be most successful.
I can only give you a cyber hug and a prayer, But I do know several people who has this surgery, and they all say: I wish I had done it years ago. So I do hope , even if you are anxious now ( I understand) after surgery and revalidation you will think the same. Hugs for now )))
I can understand your anxiousness - I need to have both knees done. I'm sending you good thoughts and many prayers to calm your fears and to see you come through with "flying colors"! Hugs*, Deb
I can understand your anxiousness...I will hold good thoughts and prayers for a quick recovery....
I can totally understand you being anxious. I have lots of friends that went through this operation and all said the same thing. They wish they would have done it sooner. Follow drs orders and before you know it you will be dancing. Hugs
Monica, having a knee replacement was, (for me), the most painful thing I have ever experienced. But, after suffering the horrible pain of being bone on bone for over twenty years, after all the pain, the physio and pushing through the pain to make the new knee bend, I truly can say I wish I hadn't waited so long to have the surgery done.
I am totally, (knee), pain free and still tenpin bowling at a competitive level.
If I can give you any advice it would be to make sure you have a good flexible ice pack at home, it will be your best friend.
Also, it will be really beneficial if you have an exercise bike or one of those foot pedal exercisers, (see pic below), you can pick them up for under $50.
I found the information at the following website very helpful and there are links to patient stories etc on it as well:

If I can be of any assistance, support wise, please PM me and I'll gladly call you. Wishing you all the very best, Meg
