How beautiful, Kim.......gorgeous colors......
Thanks, Vicki....fortunately, I had all of the fabrics in my stash...just hope I have enough to finish!!
This is going to be great! You are so talented and with the quilt as you go... the final should stitch out quick. I look forward to seeing the full quilt! This block works well simple and sophisticated.
Thank you, Christine...making it as a QAYG block will make it go together much faster as all the blocks are totally quilted through all layers...That is what I had to do to the original blocks as they did not have any quilting or back fabric....I guess time will tell!
Looks good, I finished her last challenge, but barely. I know I'd never find the time to complete this one. I will keep an eye out for your blocks though. They're sure to be superb.
Thank you...Did you post your finished quilt? I did have to "add" elements to the original blocks to get them to stitch out ITH as complete blocks....
No, I had to rush to get the last ones done by deadline, so I didn't add any embroidery as I did in the first ones. The first 2 are quilted with backing and the rest have no backing. I also gave up on my color scheme, so these will not be put together as a quilt. I was only able to do the small size, so they might become mug rugs, who knows.
Love them Kim,looking forward to see more blocks
Beautiful colors, beautiful blocks. It will be interesting to see the whole project. So far super.
Thanks, Angie....I wasn't too excited to see that the "two" blocks had the same applique design, but I guess it will all go together okay in the end...time will tell!
This is truly beautiful! Well done!!! Hugs, Laura
