It is fabulous indeed and looks hard to do. I finally visited a shop owned by an 8?'s age woman who has 3 large size computerized quilter machines--amazing to watch. Shop was 140 mile round trip from a friend's house in Indiana. Loved that shop.
It's not hard, at all if you have the half hexie ruler. Personally, I've never seen someone hoop it , but I'd love to. I have a friend who has one that I played on but she already had it in the frame. I just don't have the space for a large frame and if I got one like that, I'd want the large. This same fr
That is one fabulous quilt! I love everything about it.
Love, love love that braided Border. As always Toogie you did a wonderful job and so did your quilter.
Isn't Lynn amazing! I wish I could get a continuous design in my mind, something besides stippling or meandering. Thanks Angie.
These are gorgeous, Toogie! Truly works of love! I'm in love this that braided border, too! Did you use a pattern for it or did you just figure it out by your talented self?
Jenny shows how to make the braid using their ruler. I bought the small one, under $5. Missouri Star Quilting Company
They get more beautiful with each one. So much work involved in these. Love Chris
Another beauty, Toogie....I am sure the vet who receives this will be very moved that so much love has gone into its making...
Toogie I just wonder where you find the time to do all that you do. Lovely work
Thank you, I do like to play and so glad I have free will, to make what I decide to make. Lynn, the lady that quilted this one, passed 3 of these panels just alike, on to me. She didn't know what to do with them. I think she was happy with what I came up with.
