I discovered the design is free! Whoo Hoo! I may stitch it tomorrow! I have lots of stitching to do.
Some of you, including peafarm, were wondering about the large Mondo Bag. My post about is is in the link below. I didn't use the pre-printed marked stabilizer. I drew my own grid, on an iron on Pellon 809, to give it body and because that's what I already had. Have fun!
OH so cute! Love them both! And for YOU is priceless!
Love them both! Kudos to you FINALLY sewing something for yourself! Hugs*, Deb
Both scissor holders are beautiful and I did get the download from Swtpea. I will have to search what a Mondo Bag is. Lots of squares sewn together but beautiful also.
The link is above and glad you got the scissor holder from Sweetpea, when it was free. Thanks Patti
Good for you! Always good to stop and do something for ourselves!
Great job!
Thanks, I know what you mean about thinking of ourselves. I had a pincushion made. Someone who doesn't see much but was sewing with us at church said how pretty it was and she didn't even have one. Well I gave it to her and it took me about 2 years to make me amother one
So professional looking together! I sent you a PM about the place with the trims and fabrics by the pound, etc.
Forgot to mention - not a parking lot for a bus to pull into - narrow and on steep hill - fine for cars, though.
Thanks I did read your email. I finished baking butterscotch cookies for my oldest daughters birthday ,while we were on the phone. Her bday was yesterday & she doesn't care for cake. Anyway, I cleaned house yesterday so down in my back again. When I got to her house to bring them I couldn't get out, hurt too bad. And I have a presentation today for 5 quilts I made!
Those are both so neat, great job. Congts for making yourself something.
Very nice job. Keep up the lovely work. Always nice to make our self something every now and again.
Happy Stitching Hugs Brenda Lea:-)
I love those Mondo bags, they are like Mary Poppins bag! Well done on your scissors holder too. Love Chris
Thanks Chris, oh if it were like a Mary Poppins bag, I would pull a LA quilter with 10 foot frame and a building to put it in!-lol
