I have been knitting the last 18 days as me husband was in hospital, followed by therapy sessions - and as he was not allowed to drive I spent many an hour to wait for him. Not only had these two items done, I also got many nice comments sitting in the waiting rooms.

The one in pic#1 would fir a 3 yr old and is made from 3 odd balls - only a about a yard of the lilac left.
#2 is somewhat smaller, knitted from two recently given 100gr skeins.
All buttons are rescued from long gone old shirts.

Those sweaters are very nice. I can't knit but I do crochet and appreciate the workmanship. Hope your hubby is doing better

Such a wonderful thing to do!!!! I enjoy being the "RIDER/PASSENGER"--i get a lot of knitting done....I do hearts and square cloths to give away--especially to homeless shelters--Samaritan's purse projects at CHRISTmas---military vets---WWII vets---When I have to do the driving, it seems like a waste of time---time that could be spent KNITTING!!!! Your projects are BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! GOD bless you and heal your hubby!!

Thanks Chris. He is getting better. And I am getting accustomed to a new routine as taxi-driver - thought that had ended when the children left home and could drive themselves ;)

Love, love, love those cables. Do you find the knitting relaxing in a tense time, I do. I hope he recovers well in therapy.

I find knitting relaxing too. Knitting in ER kept me from panicking - and that calmed my husband.

Nicely knitted and a wonderful way of making the time go by. Great thing about knitting and crocheting, that it is so portable. I love the cable design on the raglan sleeve. Great work as always.

Thank you, he is.
I liked the cabel too, wondered whether I should have added a purl st on both sides but was afraid it would too wide for this size.

Thank you. He's improving but has some way to go. So ample time to reduce my stash even further. :)
