You did a beautiful job! I think we all would like to know how the back especially is finished so perfectly. Your colours match is great.
Thank you...one thing to help with the back is to always pull up your bobbin thread to the top when you stop and start the quilting stitching.
It's terrific Kim. I've been waiting to see your finished quilt as I knew you were working on it. I was able to get a few weeks ahead on the blocks and have received the files for the final blocks, but life has intervened again and the last blocks are on hold. I, too, am using fabric on hand and may have to try to make a small quilt as well, as I have run out of my block background fabric. I've been taking note of all the finished quilts to try to decide how to finish. Wish I had your digitizing skills. Oh, and I do like green and your greens blend well together.
Not a fan of green either but your quilt turned out nice. Mine is almost finished with the stitching of the last blocks, can't wait until it's done.
I am not a friend of green either, but this is very appealing. You did such a great job. I agree with "dailylaundry". It would be great to take lessons from you.specially in the quilt as you go area.
This is so lovely - I wish I could take lessons from you on how to do a quilt ith!! That is something I would love to learn! Your colors are perfect! Well done!
Thank you, Laura...there are so many different ways to do an ITH quilt... This is just one that I happen to like, although I did have to "tweak" the method a bit after making a couple of quilts... It's all a learning experience!
You are so highly skilled in your ME and quilting! This is a unique quilt that deserves to be on a wall as well as the table. I especially like all the color choices you made both in the thread and fabric. Well done!
Love it Kim what size is she???Hugs xx
It is only about 28" x 40"....I wish that the blocks has been 8" blocks....but not to be!
Your table topper is perfect! And so is your digitizing!
Oh my that is lovely! And green is my favorite color. Great job. Hugs. Nan
Well done Kim, I'm with you on the green factor. I'm not a fan of it, but your work is superb. Love Chris
Beautiful!!
I have these designs too, but I haven't made the quilt yet, Been really slack lately, you've have inspired me to start, but it will have to wait till after Christmas.
Awesome, Love the look of having every other row on point.
Your green is actually perfect for the designs. The way you did it makes it reversible as the back is lovely also. Thanks for sharing what you did along with the pict.
