Stitched these men's wallets over the last week or so. The design comes from the same site that my cross shoulder bags came from. I am not a digitizer but, honestly both designs needed a little help. Thank goodness I was able to make some changes. But, all in all these came out pretty good! I have 4 brothers, one husband (lol), 3 sons, a son-in-law and a nephew that I made these for. I will add a gift card to each of them for Christmas. There are two slots for multiple credit cards (which won't slip out) and a larger back slot for money. I loved working with this dimpled black vinyl. Thanks for looking! Hugs, Laura

These are wonderful and I really like that vinyl. I am making some myself with a simple design I digitized myself.

The only thing I have ever digitized was a simple case for sunglasses! So, I am envious - I would love to learn!! The dimple vinyl was so soft and easy to cut and stitch on! Thanks bunches!! Laura

Excellent work Laura!
Also, I am glad to see the "tags" here used as they should be.

Thank you, dear friend!! The tags can really help - wish everyone used them. I am not certain that everyone knows that you can mouse click on a tag and all those tagged the same way will appear. Thanks and hugs! Laura

Many that use tags will use the, or, and, as tags. Maybe when they see your tags they will better understand. We can hope!

These look great, Laura! Super fix on the design! The men in your life are going to love them. Oh, and if they think the "machine did it all", just say, "yep, just like the stove makes Thanksgiving dinner!" LOL!

I love this! I will have to remember it for the next time someone says the machine does it all.

dailylaundry by dailylaundry 04 Nov 2019

I've heard that saying - but, I immediately get defensive and can't think of that comeback!!! I fairly sure the younger guys will like them - not certain what my big brothers will think! At least they'll like the gift card - lol!! Thanks!!!

I love them, you have done a great job, Laura.
I have read your explanation to Kim's comment. Are you using an embroidery software? My software has an Option tab where there are two choices: one is "Add jump to First stitch" and the other is: "Add back to the Origin stitch" . The first one is always checked by default. Both of them should be unchecked, otherwise my machine would stitch those unwanted stitches. Just make be sure the those two choices are unchecked and save the design again. That works for me.
Hugs, Lidia

Yes, Lidia - I use Embird and I did find that option and made sure both were unchecked. I appreciate your help!! Thanks bunches, Laura

I'd be happy to let you know. Just mouse click on the red oval next to the word INBOX, up towards the upper right of this page. Send me a private message there and I would be happy to give you the site! Thanks! Hugs, Laura

They turned out really well. You are lucky that you are able to fix inadequacies in the designs. The men in your family are lucky to get something so special.

Thank you, Angie! Not certain what my brothers will think - they are under the impression - you just put some fabric in the machine and come back and everything is ready to be sent off! lol - they are kinda clueless - hehehe!

Your brothers are not alone, dear Laura! :-)

Great job and save Laura.... Unfortunately, I am finding that more and more designs need to be redone in order to actually stitch out well. Unfortunately, one cannot tell until they are purchased.....

One big mistake on it was, the pressure foot returned to the center of the design, getting caught in one of the slots - even if it was taped down. I added a dot after the last stitch outside of the design so it would go there instead. Thanks Kim!!
