Hi Cuties, I was reading recently where someone mentioned a sparkling white embroidery thread, can someone please let me know where I can purchase some?

As most of you know I live in Australia, so am not sure of the brand etc. and whether I can purchase it here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Love Chris

I bet you will do some beautiful embroidery with this thread. Enjoy your ladies luncheon, I always enjoy the pictures of the luncheon. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Hugs and love, Suzanna

Thanks Suzanna, I will certainly try to.
I'm just about to put up some pictures of the table. It's 10.30 Wednesday evening as I write this. Trev and Ben helped me by moving the furniture around in the back room and today I've been fiddling with decorations etc. Anyway it's ready for Friday. Love Chris

Mine arrived this morning. It's called Softlight and I got it from Echidna here in Australia Echidna are based in Queensland. I bought the Green, Red and White.
I've got my Christmas ladies luncheon this week, so the back room is being sorted out tonight (moving furniture etc. around). Love Chris

Chris my picture shows a white glittery opalescent thread made by Isacord, which I bought a while ago when I was on one of my infrequent visits to my dealer. The number on the inside is 9940 My suggestion would be ebay too. Happy hunting

Chris I have a 5000 mtr cone at one of the annual craft shows we have but also had a smaller one which I must have given away - Sorry.
Echidna has one https://www.echidnasewing.com.au/... Their softlight range sews well so I don't think you would be disappointed. I think Madiera might also have one but not sure.
Merry Christmas, & Hugs Lynne in OZ (Far Sth Coast NSW)

Thanks so much Lynne, that looks like the best option. I see you and Sewmum1 suggested the same place. I'll get it from Echidna, because that's in Queensland and it will be quicker to get here.
I've just ordered 3 cones of the Softlight, Red, Green and White Love Chris

Great, hope you enjoy them and they sew well for you. In the unlikely event you have any problems with breakage try spraying the back of the hooped fabric with food grade silicon - works wonders and doesn't hurt your machine or damage your fabric.

Chris, I've bought white metallic thread from Thread Arts out of Texas and King Star metallic brand (which is excellent thread, by the way) from the Embroidery Store, but they don't have a white. Maderia has a white metallic - but I know that a lot of their colors/selection aren't available world wide. I'd suggest trying Amazon or Ebay. Sorry I can't be of more help.
