Your catastrophic episode had a wonderful ending! This was an abitious project and you must have a really good workhorse of a sewing machine. This is certainly a testament to your creative abilities and I am in awe of you!
Thank you for those kind words. I have a Brother Innovis V5 with upgrade
Stunning, love your bag and the mistake!! I just bought this pattern and can't wait to make my own. Well done.
Thank you the pattern is very easy to follow. Just be careful of the size of your straps too big and they will get caught when you sew the lining
Great save Carol and I love the matching makeup purse/cosmetic purse. Love Chris
Thank you Chris all sewing is now completed now have to tidy the sewing room

Great job...and you managed to turn your "boo boo" into a lovely set.
Accident happen, but you made the best of it. They were just meant to be a set. Great job.
Thank you I am normally not so careless but this time really stupid but turned out ok
Carol, you have still done a superb job. These things happen.
Carol, I am quite fascinated with the embroidered birds in the background. I see that one of them is a Knysna Lourie. Living in Knysna SA, we have them in the garden. They make a noise like a dog barking.
Thank you for your kind words. Oh my gosh thank you those were the days when I was crazy about cross stitch using aida 14 count and had them lying around so decided to put them to better use
