such a sad time for everyone, family and friends. Your kind gesture and beautiful embroidered Angel wings will tell them how much you care. xx
Chris, I am sure that she will be touched by your generous gesture. How sad a time for them.
Hi Jerrilyn, thank you and I've been thinking of them today, it's been over 40C here in Newcastle today. Ghastly smoke everywhere - again! We are all praying for rain, and at last a cool change is coming through. Love Chris
Beautiful wings! She'll love what you have done!
She's
with Jesus now and he is holding her and no more cancer Amen
The loss of a child is always such heart breaking news. My prayers for all those whose lives she touched. The wings are lovely and hopefully will provide a thoughtful remembrance.
Your Angel wings are stunning. I am sure she will love them and appreciate the love that went into making them. Losing a child is so heart wrenching. I pray that they find peace and strength during this very difficult time. Hugs and blessings, Barba
These are so beautiful Chris. So sad to lose a child so young. Sending prayers for the family. Hugs
Thanks Shirley, the family will need them tomorrow for the funeral and it's expected to reach in the low 40's here in Newcastle tomorrow. Funeral is being held at the Anglican Cathedral, Newcastle, love Chris
They are beautiful! So heartbreaking to lose a child. The parents must feel so helpless, with all their knowledge, and not be able to save their own child or others, with this dreadful disease. My heart goes out to the family and friends.
A beautiful tribute to a dear little girl. We lost our sweet niece at 6 years old. She was also ill. She is in my heart and will always be there. There is nothing in this world like loosing a child. Absolutely nothing. Prayers for her dear family and friends. Your angel wings are perfect. Hugs, Laura
Laura when I was 6, I lost my best school friend, Julie. Although I have always had a terrible memory, the memory of Julie will remain in my heart and mind, always....I seem to forget what she looked like and that her older brother died too that day, but it’s her ‘presence’ if that makes sense, that I remember. She was my friend.
News of any death is hard, but when a young child is involved it is gut wrenching. So sorry for this loss of another child of God. God bless the family. Beautiful set of wings!!!
How very sad for the family and all of you whose life she touched. Your Angel Wings are gorgeous and I am sure that they will be treasured....
So Sad for her and family..What Stunning design stitched ..So Pretty..She is going to Love it!!!!
Such a sad thing to happen to any child. Maybe someday your doctor will find a cure for this disease. I know there is no pain deeper than losing a child. My heart and prayers go out to precious Josephine and her family. The angel wings are perfect for them and it is so kind of you to make them for the grieving family. Love, Suzanna
Oh my goodness, such sadness at this time of the year....the wings you have stitched in her honor are the perfect tribute to this little angel.....
They are lovely and will be appreciated but probably not for a while. Keeping that family in my prayers. Hugs. Nan
They are magnificent. Such a sad event to happen my heart goes out to her parents and siblings as you said it's still a shock when it does happen.
Thanks Marian, the wings are exquisite. Our whole community is so saddened by this tragedy. Dr Phoebe's father Dr Chris Hindley started the surgery here in Jewells over 30 years ago. When he retired Phoebe took over the practice (it's a big practice, there are 8 doctors there) Our daughter Dana went to school with Chris's 2nd daughter and she is a Veterinarian. Love Chris
