Great job on the hand towels Chris!

I should take a leaf out of your book and start on my Christmas gifts! This past Christmas I didn't have time to make anything, we were travelling and only arrived back home 2 weeks before Christmas!
It is quite cool down here in Tassie today. I rather it be a little on the cool side. I am not a fan of the hot weather. I love Border Collies. My son has one, actually it is his second one as the first one died some time back. I liked his first one the best of the two. Enjoy your last days of house sitting. Hugs
Hi Shirley, I'm with you when it comes to the heat. Yes, Border Collies are a beautiful breed and great to have on the farm/winery grounds. Buddy pretty much runs the place and Benji submits to him! We always have our favourites don't we when it comes to our animals. Love Chris
good to inside, sewing, and out of the heat! We have just come home from Darwin. Hot and steamy, but we missed the cyclone-type weather thankfully.
Oh! Vicki, I couldn't handle Darwin's heat/humidity. It's bad enough down here in Newcastle. As you know my sister lives in Tumby Bay and she has been letting us know about their conditions. Glad you are home safely, love Chris
Chris with caring for your friends dog and home I am surprised that you have had the time to create the work that you have. Great work
It was pretty easy Caroline, except the puppy wanted to eat my socks and nibble shoes! They actually slept most of the day as it was so hot. So I kept them inside with me! Love Chris
I'm amazed that you got so much done with a puppy in the house! Great towels...and reminds me that I have to start 2020 gifts! I have a 5mo corgi puppy and she sure wants to be included in everything including toes as well.
Thanks Penny, they were long days, so plenty of time to do my sewing. I reckon your corgi would get on well with Benji. Love Chris
The towels came out lovely!! And little Benji is adorable!!
The puppy is a real cutie! Your towels are perfect. Are they an addition for your Christmas luncheon? Hugs and flowers, Suzanna
Hi Suzanna, these hand towels match the flannels I made earlier. I love Poinsettias and here in Australia they are a traditional Christmas flower. Love Chris
We have poinsettias for Christmas too! They are so beautiful. How do they handle the heat? Do you have your kookaburra this summer?
Hi Jan, our Poinsettias handle the heat well, as the heat doesn't seem to affect them. We don't have our Kookaburra at the moment, but that's not to say he won't be back come September! If you have a look at my earlier posts you can see what happened to them. Love Chris
