This is simply stunning! Your talent shines through it! I will love seeing others that you do for your church. This is perfection! Hugs, Laura
Beautiful Chris! Just beautiful! Very nice to hang at your church, too.
If money starts growing in our garden (along with the weeds) , I'll get a machine that can do this-lol-because I love it!
Thanks Toogie, I'd love one of those trees in my back garden too! I am very fortunate in that I've got 2 machines with large hoops. The newer one the Husqvarna Ruby Royale has the larger hoop at 360x200 and the Brother Quattro has a 300x200. Love Chr
It is lovely! It will look beautiful in the church. I like the white into black framing you have done on this piece.
Hi Chris, thanks for your comments. The actual dark frame colour is the dark green from the fabric base. The fabric is gradiated starting at that light section near the top, then the middle section is a bit darker and then at the base is the dark green. Love Chris
BEAUTIFUL!!! work as always... Love the colors. Last year I had trouble with some thread breaking all the time. Turned out to be the manufacturer .. They skipped putting a top coat on the thread to make it slide. The thread was returned to the company and I got other thread that did not break. Thought it might be helpful. It is not you or the machine.
Hi Suzanne, thanks for your comments and also the information re the thread. Love Chris
This is so beautiful. Even after the thread problem you are considering making more. I am sure your church is thankful for you and your donations.
Hi Suzanna, I showed our Priest this morning and he loved it. His comment was wouldn't that look good as an Altar Frontal too!!! Loe Chris
Wow! That is beautiful Chris. Sorry you had trouble with the green thread though. Hugs
Thanks Shirley. I get that a lot with my dark threads and my Brother Quattro doesn't like them. Love Chris
I agree. It is stunning. Sorry you had to deal with a lot of thread brakes, but hanging in there was well worth it.
Beautiful job, Chris. Your church is so lucky to have you to do these beautiful banners for them...cherished by all I am sure!
Beautiful work which will be admired by many for years to come
Thanks Caroline, I hope so. I just wish it was a bigger design as our Lectern is wider and taller than this banner. Love Chris
Beautiful Chris! It's a real nuisance when the cotton keeps breaking. You are one patient lady! I am too to a certain extent, when you've started something, you have to keep on going and finish it., no matter how many times you have to re-thread the machine. I've just finished making a dog food mat (from Sweet Pea) for my son's puppy, and another scrap quilt top for the cancer charity.
Still awfully hot!!
Thanks Mary, I won't give up on a design until it's finished either.
We've had rain all day, which is wonderful. Not as bad as some places where it's now flooding! We certainly are a country of droughts and flooding rains. Love Chris
